Brimham Rocks, 6th July 2009

Well, we've faffed about long enough on the indoor stuff. OK, Rach does have an upcoming CWA course to attend, but Davie also has his SPA to get moving on too.

Davie, Rach, Jacko and Rich decided to kick start this process and take advantage of a weather window.

We headed up to Brimham for a shot at the Dancing Bear, having recce'd it earlier in the year. (see previous post).

There are two routes of the Bear, both listed as V.Diff.

Davie led both with Rich, Rach and Jack seconding on what was a great day weather wise.

Some tricky moves to get going, more akin to bouldering problems than pure routes and there were aspects to both routes that were very polished

Still, two in the bag and 13 to go before my SPA training.

Scary thing is that some of these have to be at Severe grade - still, 'don't look down and don't look back' should see me right..

I hope...

Davie
